My profile 30 is giving me greif. I have taken it apart and cleaned every nook and cranny removed the photo eye and cleaned it . The stove will run for about 30 to 60 min and it stops I sit there and monitor it you can hear the the auger working on it’s timed intervals but it dosen’t seem to drop enough pellets to maintain fire i have adjusted the damper while monitoring it to try and maintain flame to no avail. I bypassed the low pressure switch to see if this is my problem still gose out . What could it be ? I have removed the auger and cleaned it no blockages im frustrated !!!!!!!!!

I have a Whitfield Cascade Pellet Stove. The auger motor wasn’t working. I replace it with a new one, but the new auger motor will not run. I know if the pressure switch is not working the auger motor won’t run. My question is besides the pressure switch what else could be faulty that would cause the auger motor not to run?
Thank you
Hi Marcia,
Thanks for contacting us regarding your Whitfield Cascade pellet stove. I think you’re on the right track, it sounds like the pressure switch. I’m going to send you a manual for your stove with troubleshooting steps.
I took my auger gear box and when i put it back it seems that it running backwards. Is there a fix for this?
Usually this problem occurs when you switch the wires on the motor.
Or you may have purchased the wrong Motor.
We have more Auger Motors available here:

I Reciently bought a home that came with a Whitfield Profile 20, Problem: when we start the stove it will cycle and fill the ultragrate then ignite and burn all the fuel but wont continue to feed unless the pressure switch is jumped out, I have cleaned the flue and confirmed a draft, The motor was removed from the combustion blower housing and the inside was vacuumed out and the hole for the tube to the pressure switch cleaned, I have confirmed the presure switch functions and that the diaphram and hose are good, The passage from this housing up to the combustion chamber were cleaned to the best of my ability, But even after all of this she still wont run on her own without the jumper.. Any help would be greatly appreciated! PS

THERMOSTAT NOTHING HAPPENS. WHT DO YOU THINK ?
LARRY GLICK AGAIN WHEN I SAY BLOWER AND HEATER I MEAN THE LIGHTS

Hi Larry,
Are you getting any error messages on the control board? Is the stove feeding pellets? Which lights are flashing?
Hi Larry, I emailed you with some questions – also asked in your previous comment. Hope to hear from you soon so we can get your stove up and running before it gets much colder.
I have a Whitfield cascade WT5 , the auger works fine just very noisy each time it turns, driving me crazy cant hear anything else. Emptied the hopper, vacuumed the auger tunnel and cleaned it thoroughly , leveled the stove. Where do I go from here to quiet it down? Nothing seems to help. Help RB
I have a profile 30 stove it starts and runs for about2-3 mins until the initial amount of pellets are burned up. the auger motor does not turn on to feed pellets
Hi
I have a whitfield p 20 fs. I retrofitted the photo eye and have cleaned etc. I feel like the damper doesn’t make that much difference. I have been having problems with the pellets not fully burning and going back up the feed ramp. Then it shuts off. Cleaning issue?
We have a Whitfield PS 30 ins that is about 12 years old When the pellets feed at start up the box will fill with smoke and billow out into the room at ignition. The flame is very lazy/blue with the damper completely open. It acts like the fire is not getting enough air. We have cleaned the chimney and recently replaces the high pressure switch as well as the control Board. The chimney is a straight shot up through the old Fireplace chimney with a 4″ flex hose. The intake air draws directly from the existing chimney. Any advise?
I have a profile 30 stove that is approximately 7 years old. Recently the igniter only blows room temp air and does not produce the flame needed to ignite the pellets. Thoughts?
I have a Whitfield Profile 30 stove that’s giving me some problems,I’ve gone through the whole stove and thoroughly cleaned and checked all the switches, pressure switch, photo electric eye etc all are okay.. The stove starts up fine with the fans blowers seem okay.
This is what happens when I start the stove:
– fault indicator light rapidly blinking
0:00 min. pushed on button
-fault indicator light stopped blinking.
-on light on
-exhaust fan running
-blower fan running
-all lights on heat & blower
-auger running and pellets dropping
3:25 min. Auger stops
3:37 min. Pellets ignite
5:10 min. Auger restarts
5:50 min. Auger stops
6:50 min. Auger restarts
8:54 min. Pellets burning good flame
10:56 min. Flame reducing in size
-All lights are still on
12:01 min. Fire slowly dying from lack of fuel
14:35 min. Flame goes out
15:00 min. Fault light rapidly blinking, and all other lights out
15:14 min. Blower fan shuts down
-Fault lights still blinking
31:14 min. Exhaust fan shuts off.
Hope you can help.
Gio
Hi
I have a Profile 20,
When I start the stove All I get is a clicking sound from the controller and the Heat and Blower indicators flash with the clicking sound.
I have the same problem. Clicking sound from controller and the heat and blower indicators flash with the clicking sound. Any idea what to do?
Hi,
I have the same problem as Hank Balch the lights just blink with a clicking sound when turned on.
Our profile 30 starts fine and then the flame gets lazy and the pellets back up in the grate and sounds like fan slows down as well? Low limit switched replaced and photo eye is bypassed. What can this be?
